    Violation of Rules - Game reports (PleeMaker & Selezny)

    Hey Gamers,

    The Summer Cup Playoffs Round 1 pairing NG Club Kannunkulma - NG Oispa Taitoo finished their series on time early last week. However, the game reports remained missing for a whole week after that. After League Administration made contact concerning this matter during the weekend, the games remain unreported, even as Round 2 is already going on - making it impossible to generate correct playoff-trees etc.

    We look at this kind of action as completely reckless towards the rules but also towards the other participants of the Summer Cup. 

    "10. Match report, from the rules of Summer Cup.

    All match reports must be submitted within 24 hours after the game is completed, but as a general rule teams are expected to submit the stats immediately. Continued failure to report stats on time and/or accurately will result in disciplinary action. In case of repeated user error offenses, a warning will be issued. Once a warning has been given, further offenses may lead to a suspension or a deduction in team points. The rule also applies to the 24 hour period within which the matches should be reported. "

    "Continued failure" is almost a week in this particular case. While there has been instances of game reports lingering for longer than 24 hours, this is an extreme case and the fact that we are currently in the Summer Cup Playoffs, Round 2 also work as an aggravating factor.

    After receiving all information on the matter from both captains, League Administration has decided on the following outcome:

    • Captain of NG Club Kannunkulma, @plee999, will receive a 1-game ban for Round 2 of Summer Cup Playoffs. The 1-game ban takes effect immediately, meaning the first game of Round 2.
    • Captain of NG Oispa Taitoo, @Selezny will receive a 1-game ban for ECL5. As his team lost the series 3-2, that means Selezny's next possibility to play official league games at NHLGamer is in October 2017 when ECL5 starts. The 1-game ban takes effect immediately in ECL 5, meaning the first game of ECL 5 for whatever team Selezny chooses to play for.
     
    Furthermore, we would like to clarify once more that when you have taken on captaincy responsibilities, and if you for some reason you can't report your games on time, you can and have to tell your Assistant Captains about the problem and tell them to submit the stats in your place.

    "After League Administration made contact concerning this matter during the weekend" -You mind telling who you contacted? Not me certainly.

    "In case of repeated user error offenses, a warning will be issued." -Where´s my warning?

    "Playoffs makes this case a lot heavier to you and us which is the main reason for your further sanctions."(from vSilentio´s msg) -If so, think it would also read in the rules?

    First msg I got from you (yesterday) about this topic, I answered in less than 15 min that I would report those the same day.(Tho couldn´t report the other ´cause missing one screenshot.) But, no replies to me that it would not be fine or anything.

    Like the one game ban would hurt me anyway, it´s about principle to me. This was the first time in sc that anyone violated the rules? Think so too. 

    What about 6 hour draft taking like 6 days, 3 week regular season taking like 5 weeks without any information and still not all games played etc.... Those doesent matter.

    You certainly couldn´t find out which team had won? "As his team lost the series 3-2" -Oh, you did.

    We got informed about this case during weekend - that sentence might be little bit misleading, I admit that one. However, doesn't change that the actual violation happened long time before our contact. Obviously, we could have acted better/faster here. Sorry for this part - my bad!

    Repeated user error offenses and delayed game reporting are two, totally different things. Delayed game reporting is when you don't report your games in time. The user error simply concerns a situation where someone is leaving "sloppy" game reports in which there are continued, easily avoidable mistakes that leaves faulty stats.

    So what is your point? That we should have separate rules for playoffs, or what?

    Good to hear that you're man of principles - sadly it wasn't like that with your game reporting.

    What about the draft? The Summer Cup schedule will be as long as we thought it would be - the last week of the Playoffs will be the same week when the NHL18 Beta will be out. 

    What about the result? With that logic, we could have only ending results from the games & playoffs and that would be it.

    Atleast on iPhone u cant add second assist. (I told you about this issue over a month ago)

    I added all stats in ecl 4 with iphone including 2nd assist 🤔

    Is the issue still there? We made some adjustments that should allow you to scroll. Let us know.

    Now u have a new game added :)

    I could not scroll but i could Tilt the screen. Not sure if enough for second assist and this was will the old tool.
